Hi, I’m Carolyn!

I started Cake Prints in 2021 while on maternity leave, supplying personalised edible images to customers around Christchurch. When returning to work proved a little more complicated than expected, I decided to take a different path and focus on what I know best — cakes!

I’m a qualified baker with over 20 years of experience, much of it spent making cakes and desserts. I believe in good, honest baking: homemade, delicious and made with care. Quite simply, if I’m not making cakes, I’m probably thinking about making cakes!

Outside the kitchen, I’m mum to two girls, aged 11 and 6, and wife to Andrew. Between family life, school runs, walking and everything else that comes with a busy household, there’s never a dull moment. Somewhere in amongst it all, I fit in baking and answering messages from my lovely customers.

Cake Prints is a one-woman operation, so every cake and edible image is made or prepared by me, from start to finish. Custom cakes take time, planning and plenty of work behind the scenes, and I put a lot of care into every order.

As a small, family-run business, every order genuinely makes a difference, and I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who chooses to support me.
